Heavy Duty Commercial Gate With Automatic Opener

This heavy duty commercial automatic gate is operated by a inverter type motor, the grade across the driveway is close to a meter, The inverter type gate used in this commercial application is definitely strong enough to open even on the incline. this gate which is approx 10meters, opens in 10seconds, and closes in same time, the inverter motor used here can also have a slave fitted and be used in Bi-Part sliding Gate applications, see next image for matching Bi-parting Gate on same industrial premises

The gate is galvanized steel with, 100x75 main frame with 35mm balusters (verticals).

this gate as with all gates industrial gates has infra red sensors that stop the gate if an obstruction gets in the way of the gate opening or closing for safety

The footings on this gate are, 450mm x 500mm solid concrete floating beam, poured in place, the reason for the beam over a standard 150 mm slab is for ground movement, if the ground does happen to move a little, the beam floats around marginally and it does not impair the operation of the gate, as the whole sliding gate, posts and motor are attached/included in the one footing. Not all gates require this size of footing, but a minimised version is usually a good practical way to ensure that your gate will always work.
