The Timber is  fully enclosed in the steel frame in almost exacly the way a colorbond fence is assembled.

The steel frame is is galvanised, and the then painted with high ultra-violet light resistant paint much the same as vehicle paint

The gate is motorised with a mains power  gate motor due to having an existing GPO next to the gate in the garden for pre-existing reasons
